Prof. Gang Hu was born in China in April 1979. He is professor of Computer Engineering and Applied Mathematics at Xi’an University of Technology. He received his Master degree in Applied Mathematics from the Northwestern Polytechnical University and his doctorates in Mechanical Engineering from Xi’an University of Technology, respectively. He started his career as a Lecturer at Xi’an university of technology, Xi’an, China, in 2002 and taught a variety of courses of Applied Mathematics at undergraduate and graduate level. His research interests are in Mechanical Design, Intelligent Manufacturing, Artifcial Intelligence, Computational Intelligence, Geometry Optimization, Computation Geometry, CAD/CAM, Image Processing and Computer Graphics and his works have been published in many different journals. He is a member of Chinese Computer Federation, a member of the CSIAM. He served as a program committee member for numerous international conferences.

胡钢，博士，西安理工大学教授、博士生导师，校杰出青年教师。陕西省数学学会理事、CCF与CSIAM会员，美国数学会MR评论员。兼任10余种国外SCI期刊审稿人，现为国家自然科学金、重庆市、广东省自然科学基金及陕西省科技奖励评审专家。主要从事机械设计、智能制造、CAD/CAM、人工智能与大数据、计算几何、图形图像处理等方面的研究工作。主持国家自然科学基金2项（结题优秀1项），主持完成省部级和厅级基金4项；参与完成国防重点项目1项和国家基金项目8项、其他省部级项目20余项。已在20余种SCI期刊和20余种国内重要期刊上发表学术论文160余篇，其中SCI检索50余篇（其中ESI高被引1篇、中科院一区TOP期刊10余篇）、EI检索60余篇。获陕西省科学技术奖二等奖1项，陕西高等学校科学技术奖一、二等奖各1项，申请国家发明专利5项，参与出版学术专著和教材各1部，并获陕西省优秀教材奖二等奖1项。曾任CENet 2014~2017及ICIVC 2017~2021国际会议程序委员会委员。
