Xinlei Zhou is an associate professor and master supervisor at the School of Optoelectronic Engineering and Instrumentation Science, Dalian University of Technology (DUT). He is also a member of the Optical Society of America. His research interests include fiber-optic sensor, surface plasmon polaritons and fiber lasers. In recent years, he has presided over and participated in more than 20 scientific research projects. He has published more than 50 research papers and has been granted 5 national invention patents and 6 software copyrights. He was invited to be a keynote speaker and served as the Session Chair. at the 2015 International Conference on Optical Instrument and Technology.

周新磊，大连理工大学光电工程与仪器科学学院副教授、硕士生导师，工学博士，美国光学学会（OSA）会员。主要从事光纤传感技术、表面等离子体激元方面的研究。近年来，主持及参与科研项目20余项，其中主持国家自然科学基金委青年项目1项，参与国家自然科学基金委重大科研仪器研制项目1项，重点国际合作研究项目1项，重点项目1项，面上项目3项。另外主持及参与省部级及企业合作研究项目20余项。近年来发表SCI、EI检索论文50余篇，获授权国家发明专利5项，软件著作权6项，出版教材1部。曾获邀在2015 International Conference on Optical Instrument and Technology国际会议做特邀报告，并担任分会议主席（Session Chair）。
