Assoc.Prof. Zhibin Zhao,  Xi'an Jiaotong University, China

Zhibin Zhao, PhD, is an associate professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU), Xi’an, China. His research interests include sparse signal processing and machine learning, especially deep learning for machine fault detection, diagnosis, and prognosis. Currently, he serves as an associate editor of "IEEE TIM", "Transactions of the Institute of Measurement and Control", and “Frontiers in Mechanical Engineering”, and an editorial board member of “Electronics”. He also serves as a reviewer for over 30 journals, such as IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TIM, etc.He has published more than 60 academic papers, which all published in Nature Communications, Nano Energy, IEEE TIM, and other authoritative journals in related fields. The related papers have been cited more than 6,000 times since its publication. Recognition of Dr. Zhao’s scholarly accomplishment by his peers is reflected in the various honors and awards that he has received, including Special Prize for Higher Education Institution Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award, Shaanxi, China (2023), Doctoral Dissertation Award in XJTU (2022), Top Ten Young Scholar of Distinction in XJTU (2022), etc.
